If your child’s fifth birthday is between 1st September 2026 and 31st August 2027 then you will need to apply for a reception place at a first, infant or primary school for September 2026.
If your child is in Year 4 at a first school in September 2025 you will need to apply for a place at middle school.
The table below gives more information on when your child is eligible to join the nursery or reception classes and when they will move on to middle school.

Breakfast and After School Clubs
Breakfast club runs each day from 8.00am until the start of the school and the after-school club runs until 5.00pm Monday – Thursday and 4.30pm on Fridays.
